Digital States Initiative Application Form Portal By NITDA And Microsoft
Digital States Initiative Application is ongoing for the first phase of the program target for youths in Lagos, Rivers, Kano, and Gombe states while other states will be included in the next phases of the Digital States Initiative registration.
The Digital States Initiative is a program organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and funded in conjunction with Microsoft to dispense Digital Literacy in various skills freely to at least 540 youths in each state including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which will bring it to about 20,000 youths beneficiaries by the time the program is done in the whole states.
The program is aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with the necessary digital literacy skills that can facilitate the country’s transition to the Digital Economy.
Beneficiaries will be trained in the following areas free of charge:
Digital Marketing
To improve sales of digital entrepreneurs in their new or already existing businesses.
Productivity Tools
To increase the productivity of students and employees at school and work, the tools include; Microsoft 365 tools, communicate online.
Content Creation
To enable the creation of contents to promote online businesses especially on social media platforms
Note: Candidates can choose up to two areas although, each student will be placed in one class and every class has a limited capacity, hence, students will be placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Fill the online application form with the correct details.
- Tick at most 2 skills areas to receive training on.
- Submit your application and wait for the shortlist for the next move.
Important Notice
The application deadline was not stated however, interested candidates who reside in the aforementioned states should apply as soon as possible.
Other states shall be included in the subsequent phases of the program.
