Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSCN) Categories of Available Jobs and Requirements
Category 1: Officer Cadre (Assistant Route Commander)
Requirements
- Candidates must be first-degree certificate holders, acquired from any recognized institution.
- Candidates must not be more than 30 years old.
- NYSC discharge certificates.
Category 2: Marshal Inspectorate Cadre
-Marshal Inspector I
Requirements
- Candidates must be Higher National Diploma (HND) holders, acquired from any recognized institution.
- Candidates must present NYSC discharge certificates.
- Must not be more than 30 years old.
- Candidates must be registered nurses (RN) and registered midwife (RM).
- Applications are also welcome from nurses in the following areas; Accident and Emergency nurses, Anesthetic nurses, Dental nurses, Orthopedic nurses, and Psychiatric nurses.
-Marshal Inspector II
Requirements
- Candidates must be holders of Nigeria Certificate Of Education (NCE).
- Candidates must be registered nurses (RN), registered midwife (RM).
- Must not be above 28 years of age.
-Marshal Inspector III
Requirements
- Candidates must be National Diploma (ND) holders, acquired from any recognized institution.
- Candidates must possess Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) Certificate.
- Must not be above 28 years of age.
Category 3: Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
-Road Marshal Assistant II
Requirements
- Candidates must possess credit pass in at least five (5) SSCE; WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, English language, and Mathematics are compulsory.
- Candidates must not be above 27 years of age.
-Road Marshal Assistant III
Requirements
- Candidates must possess credit pass in at least three (3) SSCE; WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
- Candidates must not be above 27 years of age.
-Artisans and Tradesman
For candidates applying as Computer operators, Drivers, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Mechanics, Motorcycle riders, Photographers, and Plumbers must have below qualifications.
- Must have at least four (4) credit passes in SSCE; WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
- Must have Trade Test(s) and other professional certificates.
- Motorcycle riders and motor drivers must possess an appropriate class of driver’s license.
General Requirements
- All applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
- Candidates must be single.
- All candidates must be mentally and physically qualified for para-military services.
- Candidates must present medical fitness certificates obtained at any government hospital.
- Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years old, though 35 years will be considered only for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.
- Male candidates must have expanded chest size of not less than 0.87 Metres.
- Male candidates must be 1.68 Metres and above in height while females must not be less than 1.63 Metres tall.
- Every Candidate must be of good character.
- Candidates must never be convicted of any crime.
- Candidates must not be financially embarrassed.

- Go to frsc.gov.ng
- Fill the application form as instructed in the portal.
- Submit.
- Print out the acknowledgment slips and others as prompted by the portal.
- Keep safe and remember to come to the screening with the forms.
Important Information
- The submission of false documents leads to automatic disqualification.
- Computer literacy and having a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
- Submission of double application accrue automatic disqualification.
- A drug test will be carried out by the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on the shortlisted candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates would be required to undergo a computer-based test that will be carried out by the JAMB.
- Diploma and Higher Diploma (HD) acquired from the University are not acceptable.
- Medical and related professions must present current practicing licenses while those in the legal field must have been called to bar.
- Qualifications and Certificates undeclared during recruitment should not be presented for career progression once employed.
